Our Web Design Process - 4 Weeks From Start to Launch

A clear, proven process that takes you from idea to live website in just 4 weeks. Weekly updates, no surprises, and transparent communication every step of the way.

How
It
Works

Building your website is broken into four clear phases. Each week has specific deliverables and milestones.

4 Weeks Total: From signed contract to launched website.

Weekly Updates: I'll email you at the start of each week with what's happening and what I need from you.

Clear Deadlines: You'll always know when I need feedback or approvals to keep the project on track.

Your Role: Provide brand assets (logo, photos), review and approve deliverables at key checkpoints, and stay responsive to emails.

Let's walk through each week.

Average Weekly Schedule

Week 1

This week is all about getting the project officially started and gathering everything I need.

Deadline: Submit brand assets within 3-5 days so we can move into Week 2.

What I do

Week 2

This is where the creative work begins. I research keywords and start designing your site.

What I Need From You

Week 3

Your homepage is approved. Now I design the rest of your pages and start building in Framer.

Week 4

The final week. I finish building, you review the live staging site, and we launch.

Result: Your website is live and bringing you customers.

What I do

  • Complete all development in Framer

  • Add all approved copy, images, and content

  • Implement SEO optimization (meta titles, descriptions, alt tags)

  • Test on mobile, tablet, and desktop

  • Check all links, forms, and functionality

  • Send staging link for your review

What I Need From You

  • Review the staging site and test everything

  • Provide final feedback (minor tweaks and bug fixes only)

  • Submit final 50% payment via Venmo

  • Set up your Framer account (I can help with this)

  • Connect your custom domain (I'll send instructions)

Need More Time to Provide Feedback? Just let me know. As long as you communicate, we can adjust the timeline at no extra charge.

What Happens If You Go Silent?

  • 7 days after deadline: Friendly reminder email (no fee)

  • 14 days after deadline: $75 project reactivation fee required to continue

  • 30 days after deadline: Project considered abandoned, deposit non-refundable

This policy exists to keep projects moving. If you communicate with me, we'll work together to find a timeline that works for you.

Want It Faster? Add rush delivery ($250) for a 2-3 week timeline instead of 4 weeks. Requires immediate responsiveness and content provision within 2 days.

What If
I Need
More
Time?

I understand things get busy. Here's how timeline flexibility works

How We
Communicate

Email Is Primary: All feedback and approvals happen via email to keep everything documented.

Response Time: I respond within 24 hours on weekdays.

Calls When Needed: If something is complex or easier to discuss verbally, we'll hop on a quick Google Meet call.

Weekly Kickoff Emails: At the start of each week, I send an email outlining what's happening and what I need from you.

No Surprises: You'll always know where we are in the process and what's coming next.
